This was to illustrate the concept for a TV ad that I worked on...The canvas painting in a 'Van Gogh' style, I created in Painter & Photoshop & imported it as a texture map. The man was created in Poser and heavily remodeled in Cinema 4D... And the complete room, figure, easle & canvas were modelled and rendered in Cinema 4D XL7...
PS: the original 'canvases', (three of them in the style of three masters), were illustrated to actual size and printed onto canvas and used in the TV shoot...click on image

A snapshot from an ongoing project.....Essentially to see how well the textures are working - Cinema 4D XL7

Project I am currently helping out on......

Netcare Logo anim

"NETCARE LOGO" - Created in Cinema 4D XL7

I had planned on using 'radiosity' in this animation, but found that it just took too long to render each frame.... so I settled for this. (I have re-formated this little number.... i.e. it is now smaller - about 680K in size...)
I also designed and prepared much of the NETCARE Website interface, graphics & interaction, some time ago...

A little something modelled in MAYA...

In fact, I think it was my first 'Maya model' - (& it possibly shows!)

Maya

From my previous partnership....This we created and used in our first self-promo video - It continued into another scene - Created in Maya

'Hand-drawn' animation intro piece - Created in Aura, on NT/PC...

I say 'hand-drawn', as I used a Wacom tablet & pen to sketch each frame of the animation. I composited it, 'aged it' and finished it in After Effects, to SP Beta format.

From my previous partnership....Presentation piece

for a new TV Sports Channel.....
Created in Maya & After Effects.

The base figure I prepared in (good 'ol) Poser, and imported into Cinema4D, where I modelled the clothes, helmet, rifle & attachments The Flak Jacket & 'attachments', I modified from a Viewpoint model...

Other soldiers include US Marines & Taliban, in different poses.... (As these are not intended for animation, I did not need to IK them.
